Opal glass has been for more than 70 years the most classic representative of lighting glass. The white glass usually consists of three-layer glass, called Opal-Triplexglas. Opal Triplexglas is due to its effect and light dispersion unsurpassed by any other glass types. Opal glass has survived all trends of fashion and it is timelessly beautiful.

Unfortunately causes the production of opal glass problems for the environment, so that the glass maker have to install complex and costly filter systems to reduce the emission of fluorine.

Opal glass is available with a shiny lucent surface as well as with a matted surface, whereas the silk-matted finish created by using acid, offers the best surface quality.

Today our Opal standard products are:
- glass balls with different apertures of ca. 50mm-600mm
- ceiling glass bowls with bayonet or handle rim of 200mm-600mm
- cylinder glass with a height of 100mm-1300mm according to its diameter
- pendular glass in different outlines and sizes
- halogen and LED lighting glass
